OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Are you interested in working for a fast-growing company at the forefront of the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Yard Supervisor to join a rapidly growing company at a time of continued growth and development.

You will use your experience of site supervision and organisation to work closely with the Site Manager to assist with the day-to-day running of the site. You will specifically be responsible for Yard Operatives and Vehicle Appraisers to ensure that vehicles are processed efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organise and supervise a very busy 16-acre automotive site.
  • Oversee the logistics operation interfacing with all site departments.
  • End-to-end responsibility for vehicles in and out of the site.
  • Efficiently supervising the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
  • Motivate the yard team.
  • Organise and co-ordinate daily duties to the team.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy yard.
  • Manage, track and ensure the sites KPI’s are hit.

  • Excellent team leading skills with proven man-management experience.
  • Have excellent numeric and literacy skills.
  • Have a high level of integrity and honesty.
  • Be very self-motivated.
  • Be professional and customer friendly.
