ADESA Remarketing Ltd is seeking a Service Desk Manager to join our IT team. As Service Desk Manager you manage our Daily Operations department including 1st and 2nd line. You coach and develop the Service Engineers and report directly to the IT director.

Duties and responsibilities

  • You organize the daily operations and processes of your team
  • You draw up and translate concrete SLA’s into SLA’s with suppliers in line with current policies
  • You set up monitoring of the SLA’s and report this to the business
  • You draw up objectives for your team members and conduct regular performance reviews
  • You are the first point of contact for your department and escalation point for IT incidents/requests
  • You set up problem management for recurring incidents
  • You provide first line support and follow-up on tickets
  • You purchase new IT equipment following our Purchasing Policy

Must haves

  • You have minimal 5 years of relevant IT experience
  • You have a first hand experience in managing a team
  • You know how to motivate a team and develop their competences
  • You like working in dynamic environments and can adapt to change
  • You like taking initiative and give suggestions
  • You have experience with working in an agile environment
  • You have a strong analytical mindset with good communication skills
  • You have excellent Windows Servers and networking skills
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
