ADESA Remarketing Ltd is now seeking a National Business Development Manager to join the team

Part of the KAR group in North America who are global leaders in Vehicle Auctions and Online Remarketing. ADESA provides key partner solutions to OEM, large and small dealer groups and leasing companies across UK, Europe and North America. Recent changes to our digital automotive and upstream remarketing products and the launch of our new IVI Inspection products are set to enhance our proposition to our customers.

As a National Business Development Manager, you will be empowered to lead your own way, bring new ideas to the table and develop new key accounts. Backed by a dedicated support team and in-house software and product specialists.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Build and maintain solid business pipeline through targeted prospecting, networking and follow-up of leads.
  • Plan and implement ’quality-focused’ sales and follow-up activities maximising ‘face-to face’ opportunities to engage with prospect and existing account decision-makers.
  • Pre-qualify business opportunities to ensure both client value and that converted business delivers against minimum profit and volume expectations.
  • Ensure personal diary and journey management supports primary commercial objectives.
  • Compile and deliver structured and value-driven presentations and professional proposals for all opportunities.
  • Engage with existing account decision-makers in regular reviews and future business planning meetings.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and regular communications.
  • Update and keep our CRM database maintained with all relevant information.
  • Take a lead role in contributing to ADESA sales meetings/conferences.
  • Explore and develop ideas that enhance the ADESA customer proposition and enhance revenue generation.
  • Respond to any inbound enquiries or leads on receipt by organising fact-find and follow up meetings with prospects and existing customers.
  • Maintain activity logs and report on pipeline and activities as required by the ADESA Senior Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate new account on-boarding and deal implementation process.
  • Participate in industry events through proactive networking engaging in timely follow up and securing additional appointments.

Must haves

  • Applications for this role will only be considered if you have a proven track record as a Senior Business Development Manager in Vehicle Remarketing or similar.
