Are you looking for a new challenge within the automotive industry? We are looking for an ambitious sales professional with vehicle auction or wholesale industry experience to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, technology led vehicle auction business. Working closely with UK Clients, you will play a key part in the business’s sales and growth strategy and work within a talented team environment.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Negotiating directly with buyers & sellers of used vehicles.
  • Promote the ADESA UPSTREAM remarketing platform and all services to our used car buyer network.
  • Identify opportunities to source used vehicle stock from dealerships and other multiple vendors.
  • Working closely with other team members in the Sales and Marketing department to identify new opportunities and generate new business.
  • Achieve set sales targets.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of a client’s current and future business requirements and register all information on the CRM system.
  • Positively contribute to all sales and auction related requirements.
  • Support team members and colleagues always in a positive and proactive way to achieve targets.

Skills and Experience

  • An auction and / or vehicle remarketing background.
  • Experience of vehicles and specifications.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Effective communication & negotiation skills via all communication channels.
  • Customer focused with good account management skills.
  • Highly motivated and results oriented.
  • Ability to work as part of a busy team, maintaining a positive team ethic.
  • Be able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to take responsibility for the role.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to all aspects of the role.
  • Salesforce CRM experience desirable but not essential.
