ADESA Remarketing has celebrated its second anniversary in the UK in fine style with the opening of its expanded headquarters in Chester.
The opening was marked by a staff BBQ party and is the result of significant growth which has seen the business increase its workforce from 66 to 100 as it announces further plans to step up recruitment this year.
The expansion gives ADESA four units on the Chester Business Park.
Jonathan Holland, managing director of ADESA, said: “We are delighted to celebrate ADESA’s second anniversary with the opening of a new unit at our head office as we expand to meet our ambitious growth plans.
“We are a dynamic IT business and have come a long way in two years thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of the head office team.”
ADESA and its parent company KAR Auction Services, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, are committed to international expansion with the UK a key strategic priority.
“With the company positioned at the forefront of online remarketing of used cars across the UK, the new office space will enable us to expand further as we grow our workforce to around 140 employees,” said Holland.
“ADESA will be recruiting talented people in and around Chester and Wrexham to fill a host of roles ranging from administration and customer services to cutting-edge software engineering.”
